Thinking about picking up a new Samsung Galaxy S26 series device, but don't know which major carrier to go for? It's a tough choice for sure, as AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile all have very strong preorder deals right now.
As someone who advises our readers year-round on the best cell phone deals, I've been scanning through the promotions to find the best. Annoyingly (but as expected), the best deal depends on which phone and what type of plan you're after.
As an overview, the best Galaxy S26 deals right now are the free Galaxy S26 Ultra at T-Mobile, the free Galaxy S26 Plus at Verizon, and the free (with a trade) Galaxy S26 Ultra at AT&T. I say free, but as you know, you'll need the usual unlimited plan to actually be eligible to waive the monthly installment on the device.
While similar, there are a few small differences between the carriers that can add up quite significantly in the long run. Just below, you can see these deals in full, as well as a more detailed break down into which offers the best value right now.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: free with a new unlimited line, plus free tablet at T-Mobile T-Mobile's strongest opening offer has to be the carrier's deal on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Impressively, you don't even need to trade-in to be eligible for here, although you do need a line on the higher-end Experience Beyond or Go 5G Next plans. If you're looking for a cheaper line, then you can instead get the standard Galaxy S26 on the Experience More or Go 5G Plus plans without having to trade. And, as a side note, you can also bundle in a Galaxy Tab A11+ for free if you take out an additional tablet cellular line.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus: free with a new unlimited line at Verizon My favorite deal at Verizon today is on the Galaxy S26 Plus - a device that's currently available for free if you pair it up with either the high-end Ultimate or mid-tier Plus plan. More interested in the Welcome Unlimited plan? Then you can simply get the device for just $10/mo, which is a great price. Alternatively, you can instead trade-in an old device to get the Galaxy S26 Ultra alongside an Ultimate unlimited plan.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: free with a trade-in and unlimited line, plus cheap accessories at AT&T AT&T's best opening deal is on the Galaxy S26 Ultra in my opinion, as you can get this high-end device for free with a trade-in and unlimited line. All the devices require trades for discounts today, so why not go all-out and pick up the best of the best? Sweetening the deal further today is the option to bundle in a tablet and smartwatch for just $0.99 per month each if you're willing to pay a little extra for accessory cellular lines.
T-Mobile's free Galaxy S26 Ultra requires a hefty plan
All the deals are roughly equivalent, but there are a few minor differences - the most notable being that you have to trade-in to get the Galaxy S26 Ultra at both AT&T and Verizon, whereas you don't at T-Mobile.
There are also very strong options for the cheaper plan tiers, too. At Verizon, for example, you can actually still get a fantastic discount on the Galaxy S26 Plus when you pair it with the entry-level Welcome Unlimited line. That's a plan that comes in at a more affordable
With all the above, you'll want to really scrutinize the various plan tiers and work out exactly what you need - and what you can get. Note, if you're not interested in a big carrier plan, then I definitely also recommend checking out Samsung's own deal right now. Right now, the official store is offering either a trade-in rebate of up to
