The fact that the team one place and two points below them are Tottenham Hotspur will only increase West Ham's desperation to finish above the bottom three, with no love lost between the London rivals.
Nuno Espirito Santo has certainly improved the Hammers since his arrival in September and their good form is showing no signs of tailing off, taking seven points from their past three games. They may feel they need to take all three points here, though, with a home game against league leaders Arsenal next weekend.
