The long weekend is almost upon us, and Currys bank holiday sale is now underway, featuring discounts of up to 40% across thousands of tech items. I've done what I always do when one of these sales comes along and picked out what I think are the 25 best deals you can buy across appliances, TVs, laptops, headphones, and more.

All of the expected big-name brands are featured, so there are offers available on everything from Ninja air fryers and Bose headphones to LG OLED TVs and HP laptops.

Some specific deals that have caught my eye include this five-star-rated Nespresso Vertuo Pop Bundle for £109 (was £199), a powerful and excellent value Samsung Galaxy Book 4 for £379 (was £799), and these Shokz Open Run Pro 2 for a record-low price of £135 (was £169).

If you want to have a browse through the sale for yourself, I've summarised all of the biggest product categories below. After that, you'll find all 25 of my top picks from the event so far. I'll be sure to update this list with more recommended offers I'd buy as and when I spot them.

The Nespresso Vertuo Pop is one of the best entry-level coffee machines around, with one-touch brewing so you can easily heat up in just 30 seconds. Use it with the included pods, and it does all the hard work for you, with the option of different brew sizes depending on how much you want to drink. As well as the Vertuo Pop machine, the bundle comes with coffee pods, mugs, spoons, and a milk frother.

An 8-in-1 slow cooker with a removable non-stick pot, steaming rack, integrated spoon and glass lid. This kitchen appliance does it all, and if I hadn't recently purchased an alternative slow cooker, I would absolutely be jumping on this deal — especially now that it's dropped to under £100 on Currys.

Display - 14 inches Processor - Snapdragon X Plus RAM - 16GB Storage - 256GB

This is a great price for a relatively modern laptop that comes with a well-performing and efficient Snapdragon X Plus CPU. On top of that, you get 16GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD for storage, and incredible battery life of around 26 hours, which represents good value for money overall. I like it as a light, portable and capable all-around everyday machine.

Treat yourself to one of the best pairs of bone conduction headphones at their lowest-ever price — one that we last saw during Black Friday. Not only do they deliver outstanding sound, but they're also incredibly comfortable. They're highly recommended by our Fitness & Wearables Editor, Matt Evans, and are now more affordable.

Here's a quality and good value big screen TV from Hisense. The QLED displays ensure vibrant colours and excellent brightness, even in a brighter room, while 4K resolution support gives you top-tier picture quality. As far as large TVs go, this is one of the better options I've spotted in the Currys sale that balances price and features really well if you're on a tighter budget.

The Garmin Venu 3 once sat atop our guide to the best Garmin watches, with our fitness experts calling it "the best for most people". It's now been replaced by the new Venu 4, but this last-gen model still offers an excellent balance of advanced sports metrics and communication features at an affordable price that makes it a true Apple Watch alternative for fitness fans.

The Bose Quiet Comfort are the manufacturer's mid-range noise-cancelling headphones, and they are £100 off at Currys right now. In addition to the manufacturer's excellent ANC to block out unwanted noise, the sound quality is punchy overall, with particularly strong bass. These cans also last up to 24 hours on a single charge, so there's plenty of play time while travelling.

Microsoft knocked it out of the park with its latest range of Surface Laptops – and now you can pick one up for a fantastic price at Currys. This is a mid-range version of the device, but it still boasts an efficient Snapdragon X Plus processor and 16GB of RAM, ensuring speedy performance and up to 23 hours of battery life. Storage is a little disappointing at 256GB, but it does give you enough for essential files and applications, especially if you rely on a lot of web services like Google Docs.

Promising simplicity of use, the De'Longhi Magnifica S features an easy-to-use touch control panel that lets you brew two cups simultaneously with minimal effort. It also has a silent integrated grinder with 13 settings, plus a handy milk frother too, so it’s a good all-in-one solution at a very affordable price after this near-£200 discount.

LG has been crushing it in the world of TVs over the last few years, and its latest C5 is another strong contender for one of the best OLED TVs you can buy right now. This latest version boasts the same fantastic contrast, rich blacks, impressive brightness and vivid colours of previous models in the range, making it ideal for all sorts of viewing. It's also a top TV for PS5 and Xbox Series X, with support for a 120 Hz refresh rates and minimal input lag to get the smoothest and most responsive gaming experience.

The Ninja Blast Portable Blender is Ninja's best-selling personal-sized blender for smoothies, slushies, and shakes. It comes with a USB-rechargeable base, so you don't need to swap batteries every few months, and a leakproof lid with a carrying handle. Its convenient, grab-and-go design stood out to our reviewer, who gave it four out of five stars. This is the second-best price I've seen for the Ninja Blast after it fell to £31.99 at the end of last year.

The Dyson V8 is now older, but it remains one of the top affordable vacuums and also one of the best Dyson vacuums – period. This still more-than-capable vacuum comes with a couple of essential attachments for cleaning around the home. Given its age and basic features, it's a struggle to recommend it at its full price, but now that it's discounted so heavily at Currys, it's an easy recommendation.

The Desk Jet 2922 is a great budget choice that supports wireless printing, scanning, and copying. The printer includes three months of HP Instant Ink, so you can save cash on your first few rounds of prints.

There's a small saving on the 65-inch version of the previous generation premium OLED TV from Samsung in the Currys bank holiday sale. It's the TV we awarded a full five stars in our Samsung S95F review for its excellent overall picture quality, brightness levels and vivid colors. An anti-reflection screen means it's well-suited to bright rooms and multiple viewing angles, while gamers will appreciate the four HDMI ports, VRR and low input lag for a smooth and responsive experience on current-gen consoles.

You can save a decent £20 on the Karcher WV2 in the Currys bank holiday sale, bringing down the basic window vac to under £50. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery boasts a 35-minute run time, which equals about 105m² on a single charge. That’s more than enough to do a small home or flat multiple times over.

As the successor to the excellent LG B4, the B5 is one of the best cheap OLED TVs you can buy. This 48-inch model offers a good option for most spaces and room sizes if you don't want the screen to dominate the room. Picture quality is excellent, with impressive brightness, strong contrast, and rich blacks for general viewing, while the gaming features are top-tier for a smooth and responsive experience on PS5, Switch 2, and Xbox consoles.

The excellent XM6s may have superseded these headphones, but the Sony WH-1000XM5s remain a top option when it comes to noise-canceling cans — and are an even better buy at this new record-low price. Kenwood's budget-friendly food mixer just got a huge £250 discount at Currys. It's a stylish and capable mixer that is robustly built and delivers impressive power. A 5L mixing bowl and several accessories are included, such as a beater, a balloon whisk and a dough hook. It's a great option if you're after a less expensive alternative to the Kitchen Aid range.

This powerful HP laptop has everything you need for business and productivity needs, and is down to a solid price after a £200 discount at Currys. The spec is strong, with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD all working together to provide excellent levels of power and performance.

Hardly a sale goes by when I'm not writing about a deal on a Ninja air fryer. This time it's this extremely popular and best-selling model, which is essentially a larger version of the one we awarded five stars in our Ninja AF300UK review. It has six easy-to-use cooking functions and a pair of 3.8L drawers, which can cook separate foods and sync timers to finish simultaneously.

The Dyson Supersonic is now over £120 off at Currys — and this version comes with a few handy accessories to help dry and style your hair. At this terrific low price, there's no better offer if you want to buy during the bank holiday sales.

Some of us are big fans of the i Phone Air here at Tech Radar. Despite its super sleek and unique design, it might have been hard to recommend at full price, but now it's almost £300 off at Currys in the bank holiday sales, it's a much smarter buy — especially if you want a thin and powerful i Phone.

Enjoy instant cinema-quality audio with this sound bar from LG, which is now a massive £700 off at Currys. With its 5.1.3 channel setup (including a wireless subwoofer and rear speakers), a whopping 580W power output, and premium Dolby Atmos support, you get a more immersive experience at a much lower price than normal.

I'll say upfront that you shouldn't expect a cinematic wonderland from an HD TV at this size and price (although it does support HDR, which is nice), but what I really rate here is that it's just a simple smart TV at a great price. The Freely TV interface is easy to use, intuitive, and supports all the key streaming services. So, if you want a small TV that does the job and has all the smart viewing options you could want to watch your favourite shows and movies, here it is.
