Cosy crime fans rejoice! Professor T writer Matt Baker’s new series sees plenty of dastardly murders to unravel in the surroundings of the sun-soaked Mediterranean. Read on, as we explain how to watch A Taste for Murder online from anywhere.
The show, which Baker adapted from his novel of the same name, follows DCI Joe Mottram (Warren Brown), a British detective taking a sabbatical in Italy following the death of his wife. Spending time with his in-laws and looking to heal his fractured relationship with his daughter, the furthest thing from Joe’s mind is police work. However, when a member of the family is arrested for the murder of a local man, Joe can’t help getting involved, even if it means clashing with native Inspector Lara Sarrancino (Cristiana Dell'Anna). As time goes on, the pair form a begrudging partnership, and are soon working together to solve all manner of crimes on their small sun-kissed island.
As Joe settles into local life, he discovers a passion for food, and his exploration of Italian cuisine helps provide insight and clues into the variety of crimes he finds himself investigating. However, the more Joe discovers about the island, the more the Mediterranean paradise veneer begins to fade, and soon, the detective begins to uncover a web of deception that threatens to turn his world upside down.
This new cosy crime drama sounds like the perfect watch for fans of Death in Paradise and Good Ship Murder, so read on and find out how to watch A Taste for Murder online and from anywhere.
