The 34-year-old wing-turned-centre will get a rousing send-off on his one and only outing for the Barbarians, the only cloud being that the game is being staged at Twickenham rather than the Millennium Stadium.
Former All Blacks head coach Scott Robertson takes charge of the famous invitational team, which is led by Faf de Klerk and Vincent Koch, who won back-to-back world titles with South Africa. And the Baa-Baas tuned up against the Springboks last weekend, producing some terrific rugby but ultimately falling to an 80-31 defeat, a sluggish start proving costly.
Following a painful 2026 Six Nations campaign that ended with Wales picking up a third consecutive wooden spoon, Steve Tandy won't be treating Saturday's clash like a friendly, especially as they have a trio of bruising Nations Championship fixtures on the horizon.
Their preparations have, though, been complicated by the nature of the game. Because it falls outside World Rugby's international window, Wales' France- and England-based players have been deemed ineligible. Gallagher PREM-bound Jac Morgan, Dewi Lake and Aaron Wainwright, however, are available.
