Avvocato Ligas (shortened as “Ligas”) is a popular Italian TV series that follows the story and cases of a controversial criminal lawyer in Milan. This six-episode gripping crime drama is directed by Fabio Paladini – known for The Hunter and Border Queen – and produced by Sky Studios and Fabula Pictures.

After being expelled from a major law firm in Milan, Ligas (played by Luca Argentero from Doc: In Your Hands and I, Leonardo) is forced to start from scratch. But because he’s gifted with sharp intuition and undeniable charisma – oh it’d be so good if this character oozes a Harvey Specter-like aura! – he takes unconventional routes in the courtroom, using unpredictable strategies and bold defenses.

Alongside him is Marta Carati (played by Marina Occhionero from House of Gucci), a young trainee who believes in a fairer version of justice – unlike her mentor, who’s more pragmatic and cynical.
