Details
The latest Pokémon Presents showcase is scheduled to air today, February 27, 2026. It's always an anticipated time of year for Pokémon fans, as the shows typically treat us to a host of new updates and reveals. That includes details on all-new games, as well as mobile updates and the occasional multimedia project.
There are big expectations going into this year's event, however. That's because Pokémon as a franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary. And as a result, fans are expecting a more impactful Pokémon Presents than normal. Hopefully, that includes a teaser for 'Gen 10', which will be the next set of mainline Pokémon games, presumably releasing for Switch and/or Switch 2.
We're going to be covering the Pokémon Presents showcase live right here, updating you with all the latest Pokémon news as it happens.
Pokémon Presents February 2026: Cut to the chase
Today's Pokémon Presents will air live at 6am PST / 9am EST / 2pm GMT / 3pm CEST
You can watch it live on the official Pokémon You Tube channel as well as Twitch, Tik Tok, and Instagram
A big focus is being placed on the franchise's 30th anniversary
Today's Pokémon Presents showcase will be broadcast live over official Pokémon social channels.
That includes the official You Tube channel, as well as Twitch, Tik Tok, and Instagram. The You Tube URL is live now, and set to premiere at the local times listed above.
I'm a lifelong Pokémon fan and have been enjoying the games ever since Gen 1's Red, Blue, and Yellow for the original Game Boy. Today, I consider Pokémon Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Pokémon Snap, Pokémon X/Y, and Pokémon Legends Z-A to be among my favorites in the series. I'm hoping for some major announcements today, including an official Gen 10 reveal. Fingers crossed!
We're now just 30 minutes out from the Pokémon Presents showcase! In just half an hour, we'll be learning all the latest news and updates for Pokémon games, mobile apps, and multimedia projects.
Grab your favorite Pokémon 30th anniversary logos!
In case you missed it, The Pokémon Company launched a website celebrating the franchise's 30th anniversary. And it's really gone above and beyond with this one, providing individual 30th anniversary logos for every single Pokémon. And I do mean every one. You can check the site out here!
I wonder if they'll do a similar thing for the 40th anniversary in a decade's time? There will undoubtedly be even more Pokémon to create designs for then...
Heads up! The Pokémon Presents You Tube URL has gone live. Obviously you can't start watching it before it goes live (in about 45 minutes from now), but I'll drop it here for the sake of convenience.
We can make some educated guesses right now as to what today's Pokémon Presents showcase will, well, present. I'm personally expecting the usual roster of mobile and multimedia updates.
Additionally, Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green have launched on Switch and Switch 2 today, so a quick reminder of that will likely be a part of this showing. Then, we'll hopefully get a bit more information on Pokémon Champions - I have my fingers crossed for a release date there.
Finally, given this is a 30th anniversary celebration, it does seem reasonable to expect an official announcement of Pokémon's tenth generation games. There have of course been leaks and rumors for months now, but confirmation from The Pokémon Company and Game Freak themselves would be very welcome indeed.
If you have the time, be sure to read about my hopes and predictions for today's showcase, which I've linked below.

It's that time of year once again; a brand new Pokémon Presents is almost upon us! The showcase will be broadcast live in about one hours' time. As I mentioned at the top, we'll be covering each and every announcement here as it happens. In case you miss an announcement or can't watch the show live, this blog will hopefully be your guide to everything that will be shown off today.
As a reminder, the show begins at 6am PST / 9am EST / 2pm GMT / 3pm CEST. If you are planning to catch it live, get all your prep in now! Snacks, drinks, bingo cards, and maybe just a gram of that sweet Gen 10 hopium.
