May is usually a pretty quiet patch of the year for gaming laptop deals, but the annual Memorial Day sales are definitely an exception. In fact, discounts at retailers like Best Buy can rival those from Black Friday and other well-known events.

Best Buy's Memorial Day sale is already live this week, so I've been scanning through all the listings to find the best price cuts. In short, there's plenty to consider right now if you're looking for an RTX 5060, RTX 5070, or RTX 5070 Ti machine. Even slightly cheaper (and older) models are on sale today.

Just below, you can see my top five gaming laptop deals in the Best Buy Memorial Day sale, starting with this Lenovo LOQ for just

1,049). That's a great option if you're just looking to cover the basics — especially since spiralling RAM costs have really hit the budget gaming laptop scene in recent months.

It's getting harder and harder to find a decent machine for under

While you usually pay a premium for the Alienware brand, this particular listing is competitive with other RTX 5060 gaming laptop deals right now — and you get 32GB of RAM right out of the box.

Best Buy's cheapest RTX 5070 gaming laptop is this Asus TUF A16 — a deal that's easily one of the best bang for the buck options on the market. Specs-wise, this one takes some beating on paper with an RTX 5070, 32GB of RAM, and a high-end Ryzen 9 chipset. You should get great performance here, although the TUF series doesn't tend to be as premium in terms of display specs or design as some other Asus models.

On paper, this Lenovo Legion Pro 5 looks very pricey for a machine with a mid-range RTX 5060 graphics card. With 32GB of RAM and a decent Ryzen 7 chipset, this machine is still plenty powerful for most games, so it's definitely worth considering if you'd prefer a higher-end display.

You get high-end specs, a 240 Hz OLED display, and a decent price cut with this Acer Predator Helios Neo at Best Buy. With an RTX 5070 Ti, you've got plenty of headroom to play all the latest titles with great performance right out of the box.
