Philips just unveiled its audio product roadmap for 2026
Highlights include retro on-ears, boombox-style speakers, and a ‘micro hi-fi system’
Expect 80s-style yellow colorways — you love to see it
The more eye-catching and retro products are arguably the headline grabbers, such as the decidedly Avril Lavigne Sk 8r Boi era MS80 "The Tube" boombox-style Bluetooth speaker, complete with side-firing drivers. It's part of Philips' Moving Sound (read: portable audio) range and comes in a delightful yellow finish alongside the more demure black.

Aside from the boombox-style Bluetooth speakers that remind me of my youth, Philips is also releasing Pretty Woman-era on-ears that could easily grace the side of a huge bathtub while the wearer prepares to sing Prince's Kiss at full voice.
These on-ears are called MS1 "The Ringo Duo", and they can be used in wired (USB-C) or wireless mode over Bluetooth. They're priced at just €34.99 too (around
Elsewhere, there's a "Fidelio FA7 Micro Hi-Fi System" due to arrive in the final quarter 2026, combining a wi-fi streamer, CD tray and stereo speakers for wireless audio streaming, priced at €599.99 (so around
Both products, says Philips, "blend premium materials, intuitive controls, and versatile connectivity for a seamless and stylish listening experience at home or on the move".
Anything else? Oh yes, plenty, but the most noteworthy for me would be the "Stevie Pro" record player, slated for September 2026. Positioned as a "more powerful and refined evolution" of the Stevie deck, which launched in September of last year, the Stevie Pro promises a higher power output, improved speaker system, an enhanced aluminium platter and tonearm, plus expanded connectivity including Bluetooth in/out with Auracast.
Prices for the Stevie Pro haven't been disclosed, but it'll certainly be one for my, ahem, Dreams.
